Hereditas Trust

Hereditas Trust was founded in 2002 by Johann Jordaan and Louette van Heerden, to address the need for independent and specialized administrative services in the estate and trust field.

Hereditas Trust specializes in the proper finalization of deceased estates, both solvent and insolvent.

Consultancy services with regards to liason with the various offices of the Master of the High Court is also provided.  These services include inter alia the following:

• Obtaining of copies of documents file at the Office of the Master;
• Filing of Liquidation and Distribution Accounts;
• Obtaining of query sheets as issued by the Master’s Office;
•  Registering of trusts drafted by other practitioners;
• Specialized visits and consultations with personnel of the Master Office, with a view to assist executors with the proper finalization of estates;
• Consultations with the Office of Chief Revenue Inspector with regards to estate duty and capital gains tax calculations;
